(HGC), exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate and the oldest full-service real estate brokerage in The Bahamas, has been awarded an impressive ‘five’ global accolades at the International Property Awards ceremony including the prestigious overall title of Best International Real Estate Agency. 

 

HG Christie Vice President and Managing Director John Christie was delighted when he received word of the company’s successes in London. He believes these accomplishments showcase the company’s “dedication to being the best possible real estate brokerage, not only by Bahamas’ standards, but on a global level” adding that HG Christie is “proud to represent not only our home of The Bahamas, but also the Caribbean region, and indeed the world, as the best overall agency.

 

Successful entrants were invited to attend a gala and presentation dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Dec. 6, where the winning companies learned which honours they secured and whether they were eligible for further advancement in the International Property Awards competition.

 

The highest-scoring winners from the Americas, including HG Christie, were announced as the best in their region and were automatically entered into the International Property Awards final competition on the evening of the gala. HG Christie competed against regional winners from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the UK, ultimately besting the competition for the international distinction.

 

In addition to the extraordinary achievements in the Real Estate Agency category, HG Christie in conjunction with the digital agency Noble Mouse, performed exceptionally well in the Real Estate Website class attaining awards for Best Real Estate Website for The Bahamas and also for the Caribbean for www.HGChristie.com. Kevin Thompson, CEO for Noble Mouse, shared how pleased they are to have achieved this recognition so early in development and went on to say, “The combined success and knowledge of HG Christie and Noble Mouse is sure to lead to continued recognition as industry leaders.” The recently released custom site was the first responsive design real estate website in The Bahamas. The long-established International Property Awards are the world’s richest competition when measured by the monetary value of the projects entered, which reached well over $100 billion this year. Having already competed at country level and throughout the regional stages of the International Property Awards, the finest architects, developers, interior designers, and estate agents from across the globe gathered at the glamorous Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday, Dec. 6 to attend a glittering gala and to hear the long-anticipated results of the International Property Awards ‘World’s Best’ crowning event.

The judging panel comprised approximately 70 professionals, including Andrew Panting, Director of Operations for the British Property Federation, Peter Bolton King, Global Residential Director of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and Christian Morris, Director/Owner of architectural firm Yotomo Ltd. 

 

The International Property Awards also hosted business and networking events to coincide with the gathering of the world’s leading developers, architects, interior designers and real estate agents. A number of professional networking events, including seminars, discussion tables and an exhibition were attended by guests from their organizations, including chairmen, CEOs, and managing directors from all over the globe.
